AutoPilot Can't De-Select "Preserve Text" and the new release is processing text it never used to :-)

When setting up Auto- Pilot I can not switch off “Preserve Text”, in the new release if text is just out of focus (but you want it to remain) then the processing leaves the subject uncorrected but then sharpens just the text- it looks very wrong.

I shoot Soccer (UK Football). So if the player is say 1 to 2 metres behind the lead focus player.

The autopilot correctly amends the lead player. It then correctly does not sharpen/denoise the secondary out of focus player- except for the writing on their shirts- looks very silly to have a player out of focus but able to read their sponsors logo perfectly.

Please allow a “none” option in autopilot I typically batch process 100 to 400 photos at a time and it will take too much time to change settings on every photo.

Been using your products for about 3 years and always worked fine in the past- but it looks like you’re very proud of the new text function in the release video- great- but its forcing a change it never used to before you made the update.

Thanks

David

Would you mind sharing some examples of this process to share with the developers?

If you would like please take a screen recording of this behavior so I can see exactly what is happening.

Loom is a great free application for this: Loom | Free Screen & Video Recording
