Auto read raw profiles, bad idea

Hi, my camera es Niokon z50 and Topaz reads the profile used during the shooting, so whenever I open any photo, although I change the profile to Camera Portrait, Topaz still opens as Monochrome. So I´m stuck with a B&W photo.

No need to resolve something, just letting you know I think that reading profile ando not able to change them, is bad idea.

Would you mind sending in some more information to get a better understanding of the problem you are having with this particular type of image? You can securely submit your image(s) to my Dropbox using the link below.

Please be sure to send me a note to let me know you sent something.

Shoot my RAW photo with Monochrome profile. I can open it on any app and select other profile, Nikon or Adobe.

In Photo AI it only let me use Monochrome profile.

Sending you some screen shots in a second.

This sounds as thought it may be the same problem I and others have reported previously. If I set my camera to shoot raw and jpeg, with the camera set to monochrome, I get a colour raw and a monochrome jpeg. Every piece of software that I own displays the raw file in colour, including Photo AI up to and including v2.0.4. However, since that version Photo AI insists on displaying it in monochrome, even though the thumbnail at the bottom is showing in colour. I raised a ticket with support who insist it’s working correctly - something I find really hard to believe.
