Not to sound rude, but the color balance tool in PhotoAI doesn’t seem very AI driven, it did fix a few easy temp change ones, but failed miserably with removing color casts. It honestly didn’t perform as well as GIMP or Irfanview and they don’t use AI at all.

From personal experience I was expecting a more AI type approach like https://palette.fm/ uses, this allows you to edit keywords to adjust the colors it uses. This is why I think Colorization is a much more impressive tool/option than simply changing the temp/tint. it’s not really a problem as I’ll just keep using their website to post fix the colors, but I am probably only one of the few who is using this for old scanned photos and want to make them pop

Thanks for reaching out. The Balance Color filter is made to create a “natural color” and is best for images that have poor white balance.

For images that already have natural colors, the Balance Color model will likely not be useful. We are certainly thinking of ways to improve it in the future.

@gchugg if you have images where it did not perform well, please send examples so we can test with them. You can securely submit your image(s) to my Dropbox using the link below. Please be sure to send me a note to let me know you sent something.
