Would it be possible to have an option to use/update the automatic image settings based on a user-added masked area? More often than not, I will want to apply settings to the main subject only and the background will be out of focus, especially for macro work. I’m not sure, but I presume the Topaz products that have auto image settings use the entire image area to determine the amount of sharpness or de-noising. This does not make sense if the background is really just a background. At least the auto settings are maintained and can be tweaked if the preview does not give the desired results.
Still, having an option to use the masked area only could improve the workflow.
