If I denoise and sharpening a picture in Topaz Photo AI the quality is not always good enough may I say so compared to Adobe LR.

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. I transfer my pics from e.g. Lightroom to Photo AI and then the Autoprocess will start.
  2. the Autoprocess make a denoise and a sharpening (I reduce the sharpening value a lot
  3. but the qualitiy could be better a great pity if Photo AI will stay much behind Adobe Denoise.

Honestly I want to continue and stick with Photo AI, I just hope they can catch up. The Canon R5 MKII is still not supported.

Maybe Abobe has a big advantage with his AI and database behind, but Topaz can fix it in the future. all the best

Photo AI 3.3_Auto-Mode without Sharpen.jpg → this image with automatic adjustment in PhotoAI without Sharpening

Please look at the signs on the lens, e.g. you can not read STABILIZER after Denoise in PhotoAI. In LR is it much better yet. I think the big impact is the denoise process… honestly the sharpening process could be better too. There is also are artifacts → please make a trey with the original picture and look at the line in the face from the hut.
