Artifact in dark areas on upscaling

In dark areas, there is a repeating square artifact when upscaling. I re-ran the same noise/sharpening settings without upscaling, and the artifact was gone. Happy to provide test images upon request. Topaz Photo AI 1.5.0. Ruined an astrophotography enlargement I was having made… It is fairly subtle, but very present on large areas.

I’d call it a bug.

Hi!

Done. You’ll see an .rtf file with a few notes. I verified that the issue was present on 15.0 and tied to upscaling the image at 200%.
