Even with the latest patch (08/29/24), the version 7.4.1 keeps on crashing
The application just disappear without any error message
Any advice to investigate why ?

Same problem…Can’t Export after 7.4.1…how to work further…???
After upgrading to 7.4.1 Gigapixel won’t even open. It crashes even if I try to open it as an administrator.
Just the same for me, I confirm: Gigapixel suddenly crashes and disappears from the screen without displaying any error message. There’s a serious issue with this release of GP. My suspicions point to the recent BETA face recovery feature.
I’ve occasionally been having rather poor experiences with the in app updates.
So much that I now just always uninstall the app first and then install it with the downloaders linked by Dakota and Esther when they announce the new updates.
Even then things can still go wrong if the internet connection is poor, but I’ve personally only had that happen very recently when on vacation and using a mobile cellphone internet connection.
I already suggested a repair installation function here in the forum that could help resolve installation issues and they’re probably already working on something like what I suggested.
So to whoever has problems with the app crashing, trying a complete fresh install would certainly be the first thing I’d personally recommend doing.

Has there been any progress on this? I have uninstalled and then reinstalled 7.4.1 and it still won’t open.
I received a response from the support advising to revert back to 7.0.5
But it did not improve the stability
I tried the upscaler (7.4.1) on a stronger machine (powerfull GPU NVIDIA RTX3500 12 Gb with 64 Gb RAM) and the version is stable (500 upscale without a bug)
It seems that the issue is happening more often with smaller GPU (mine is Intel 8G with 40Gb RAM)
