This is not a known issue. Can you please proceed with a clean install to see if that resolves this?

If you have any custom presets saved, you will want to copy them over to a different folder (e.g. desktop) as they will get deleted when you uninstall.

Applications > Topaz Video AI > right click and Show package contents > Contents > Resources > Presets

  1. Uninstall Topaz Video AI by dragging and dropping the app into the trash bin
  2. Delete the plist files & empty the trash bin

  3. Reboot your Mac
  4. Reinstall

When I do an update, doesn’t that achieve the same thing?

No, an update would not clear the plist files.
