App doesn't launch after updating from v 3.0.4

Photo AI will not launch after updating from 3.0.4 to 3.1.0
I was able to uninstall and re-install 3.0.4. Clicking on the suggested update installed the new version, but again, this fails to launch.

Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. From the App v 3.0.4 update to the suggested version (TopazPhotoAI-3.1.0)
  2. After running the installer, attempt to launch the app. This fails.
    3.Uninstall TopazPhotoAI-3.1.0.msi

Let’s try changing your AI Processor to CPU to see if this resolves your problem. You can do this by going to Preferences > General and changing the AI Processor option.

Do I need to launch the app to access the general preferences? The app doesn’t launch.
