Any way to process in the source colorspace?

So for example, the source comes from a DVD. How to get the output to have the same color space instead of something higher?

My TV hardware cannot playback videos with the increased colorspace. Because of that, and the lack of CPU encoded H265 output, I always have to use some other program to transcode my enhanced videos to play on my TV.
Because the colorspace gets increased, other programs can have a hard time producing good results for final videos.
I suspect that if the colorspace were to not be increased during enhancement, the final results would have more quality.
