Every DNG panoramic crated on LR, shows very small on Topaz AI.
Since 6 Topaz versions ago.
Using iMac and Mac mini.
Can you post a screenshot of Photo AI with one of the images showing to show what you are seeing.
As you can see, the dimensions of the original panorama image are 9800x6000, Topaz AI show the file too small. So Topaz tries to upscale it.
Export the dng to tiff, then it will work.
I think adobe did something to the file to close out other vendors.
The small image could be just an embedded thumbnail in the file.
The issue with Panorama and HDR DNGs with adobe is that they are not standard DNGs as they use floating point values to reduce the size of the file. So they are not following the standard and if they make any changes other vendors have to catch up.
Adobe did this with layered TIFF files and PSD ( large TIFF) … as you suggested the best thing to do is to export as a TIFF.
