Alan (Anole)

We have two LARGE containers of bougainvillea on our lanai which are about 20 feet apart. For the last several months I have noticed a very curious and persistent anole traveling back and forth between the two plantings. He hangs out in the planting on the south side of the lanai in the morning and in the north side container in the afternoon. Yesterday, I took time out (several hours on and off) to get his portrait. I could have been satisfied with any of the first few shots taken of him hanging out on the woody branches but I really wanted one of him in and amongst the flowers for the contrast of color. Patience is a virtue.

Amazing. Well caught.

Love the sharpness of the lizard and the contrast of colors, excellent.

Well, it was worth the wait
