AI model loading failing

Ever since the new update I have been having an issue loading the models. Preview sometimes works but not always. Device memory is not an issue and export paths are all correct. Log dump is for a file running a Gia/proteus enhance with SDR to HDR enabled but even just running a single enhance model is not working properly. When I do get it to work the estimated time is 10 or more times its average export time and fails long before completion. Please advise on any fixes or if I just need to wait until the next update. Hardware is Windows

Can you grab the logs from the app and share to the support team for investigation? help@topazlabs.com

We will need those to review what is going on in the app when running a process.

To gather logs, please select Help > Logging > Get Logs for Support and attach the zip file to your reply.

Here is a video to help with the steps of how to collect the logs.

Apologies, I accidentally sent it before attaching that. I think this is the right log there were a couple around that time that were canceled but I think I grabbed the right one. I was just about to send this when it crashed again and froze up my machine. I am dropping that log too. Hopefully it can help with this. Thank you and if you need anything else please let me know.

Just in case this is helpful, I used the same video file and export settings on my Macbook Pro and it loaded the models and was exporting without issue. Because of that I may have a hardware issue on my device I am unaware of so I will look into that on my end. I would just do that but my Macbook hardware is not as robust so it takes substantially longer.

The logs are showing some CUDA errors with the GPU card when it is being enabled for use.

Try updating the GPU driver to a newer Studio Driver version and see if that helps.

Open the Preferences Panel and lets change the following settings as well after checking on that driver.

File>Preferences>Processing

  1. Ensure that your GPU is selected for the AI Processor

  2. Set the max memory to 80%

  3. Set max processes to 1

  4. Save the settings and close the panel.

  5. Re-run your clip through the process that you were trying.

If you run into an issue again, please send me the updated logs for further review.

Thank you. I updated those settings, my max memory was at 95 but it is at 80 now. I will check on the GPU driver and run it again.

It does appear the studio driver was the issue. I got that updated and it seems to be rendering fine again with an expected export time. Thank you for you help with this issue.

Glad to hear that is working for you after the driver update.
