Ai darkens my Video and not giving me details

Hey guys

Im using Topaz for a while and i have ecnountered some problems.
I want to upscale my video to 4k and use Proteus ( auto Settings).
But when its rendered, it darkens my shadows and other dark parts in my video, instead of giving me details. i also tried to use other ais and changed my farbcodec from my editing software but it didnt help. much. I hope that someone could help me with this problem.
Thank you in advance

I just uploaded the file: TopazVideoDarkProblemOfficial

Apologies for the delay Lukas, just got the notification you replied and uploaded the video. Taking a look at it now.

Looking at the output you shared, it might be beneficial to enable the parameters and try adjusting some of the sliders to see if that can help produce a result that you are looking for.

The other option would be if you are just looking to upscale the video, swap to the Gaia model and see how that works with your footage.

Thx for ur help. Sorry for the late answering. i tryed to trial and error a bit in proteus parameters, but it didnt really help much. The Gaia model also makes my video darker. What could be the reason of this happening ? Sounds stupid but i asked Chat gpt and he told me that i should use other color codec and it should solve that problem. But i dont know if that really helps
much.

Lukas, essentially what is happening is that the original video is most likely in a different color profile than what Video AI runs (YUV) and when it is converting the video it is changing those color pixels slightly.

In the top right corner of the app, click on the Input settings and you can change which color profile the app is reading the file as. That should help you find an option to correct that.
