Just updated the Ai Photo software to the new AI.3.1.0 version, attempted a scan, each time it’s starts scanning, selects DeNoise then closes completely.

I want to see if updating your GPU driver will resolve the problem, as there is a more up-to-date driver that has been released.

Thank you, just checked I have k5000 installed, just opened and checked. physical hardware. Will go to driver update.
Installed latest drivers, re-booted, same problem.
Please try to recreate this crash in Topaz Photo AI, then go to Help > Open Log Folder, please send me all of the files within that folder. You should be able to attach them directly as a response to this thread.

I’d like to see if adjusting your AI Processor will help with the problems you are having, please open Topaz Photo AI and go to Preferences > General and set the AI Processor to GPU.
Run some test and let me know how that goes for you.

Why does Topaz introduce updates that fail to work?
I hesitate to update every time due to issues, just when the program is doing a good job and you have a handle on its operation Topaz changes everything and it runs so slow you don’t even want to use it!
I would suggest that Topaz not introduce an update until it has been tested and works properly!
