After update to 2.2..1 Photo Ai is not working

Photo AI is not working after update to 2.2.1.
Not as lightroom plugin or standalone.
Steps to reproduce issue:

  1. send picture from lightroom to topaz, topaz ai loads, and lags. you see the start screen.
    after a few minutes you see the picture. programs lags in creating preview. after some time the preview is loaded, you can’t change any settings. The only thing that works is export to lightroom. The same is there for the standalone function

I guess several people have experienced the same problem. I posted something pretty similar. Maybe the admins can put all the 2.2.1 bug reports under one topic? Everyone seems to be reporting the same non-responsive behavior.

What system and what GPU and VRAM are you using?

Not experienced this on my Win 11.

There are several similar Mac posts.

I’m having the same issue. Running it on my Mac mini M2 16 GB RAM running on Sonoma 14.2.1 macOS.
I deleted 2.2.1 and installed v2.2.0 and still have the same issue

Thanks, it’s a bit of a workaround but still really laggy and slower than before. Just tried to open another picture up and Autopilot worked fine but taking ages to do anything else.
