I bought Topaz Video AI last year, around June 2025, and it ended today on July 1st, 2026, so I know that I can not use the latest update because it came out after the 12 months, but an update that came out in May, before my 12 months, worked fine a week ago, and doesn’t work now? It was an update before my subscription was over, and I wanted to use the new Starlight Precise 2.5 on my MacBook, but now I have to pay monthly, even though it is an old update.
The new app Topaz Video is only accessible via an active subscription plan. The older app Video AI, with its perpetual license, is still accessible for users who have that on their account, with the final version being 7.1.5.
However, the Stalright Precise 2.5 model is only available in Topaz Video. To use it you would need to renew the subscription plan, if you want to email the support team at help@topazlabs.com our account specialists can assist with getting that renewed.
