After installing all offline topaz applications (including the AE plugins) I can’t start Adobe After Effects anymore…
Already re-installed AE two times.
Also deleted the plugins from the AE plugins folder but now I have the TOPAZ icons still left in my launchpad, can’t delete them and AE is still not working anymore.
Actually my goal was to fasten top my workflow not to destroy it completely hahahaha
Also I used AdobeCleanerTool but still nothing is working.
I managed to uninstall everything. But as I am working with AE everyday I wait until I get a response before I install TOPAZ again Before it’s crashing everything again
I was having a similar problem with DaVinci, and apparently it’s the Topaz plugins. You can delete only those plugins files and use Topaz normally. It worked for me.
Someone had the same problem and showed the files names and path, I’m on mac and deleted everything with “OFX” and everything was back to normal.
Which version of the Topaz Video app and AE were you running?
Uninstalling the plug-ins should have resolved the issue for you and allowed you to run the two apps separately. We are currently testing some new plug-in builds that should improve performance but also reliability for users who prefer to work natively in Resolve or After Effects.
