Are AMD systems appropriate for Topaz AI products?

I wish to replace my 2017 iMac with 64 GB RAM. It is very slow when using Gigapixel AI. Am I limited to Intel processors for adequate Topaz AI performance?

I run AMD CPU/GPU and the Topaz apps run fine in terms of performance, although I don’t utilize GigaPixel.
