Activation will not function properly

When I try to activate the software, it fails to actually take me to the browser to activate. This is ridiculously broken and hardly acceptable in professional software. My version was out of date when I got this, so I updated. The updated version also exhibits the exact same failure. I have attached screenshots demonstrating the failing behavior as it tries to open some nonsense app via the window app store, rather than my default browser.

I’m running on the latest Windows 10 release.

This is a bug that will be fixed in v3.3.3 and for the time being,

I am going to DM you a login.exe which you will need to download and put it in C:\Program Files\Topaz Labs LLC\Topaz Video AI\ (or wherever you have it installed). You will need to say yes when it asks them to replace the existing one.

Also, I had no success clicking the activate button. I click it, and it does nothing on Windows 11. It was activated and working fine on Windows 10 but the activate window pops up after upgrading. I can’t use the software that I purchased now. Disabled firewall and reinstalled but no success. Chrome is my default browser but it doesn’t even get that far.

Same here. Mac. Safari. After updating to 4.04 I clicked the ‘activate button’ (which later changed into ‘Sign in with browser’-button. A Safari window opened. And then… nothing. I tried everything. Different browsers. Installing again. Deleting Plist files. Restart. Nothing.
I can’t use Topaz Video AI anymore. Please fix it.

Same thing with the 4.04. This is a ridiculous situation. DaVinci, Avid and every other editing software allows you to activate with your account. I’ve opened a ticket, but if it’s not resolved I’m asking for a refund. Incredibly unprofessional “glitch”.

Anyone using a VPN please exit completely before trying to activate and make sure you try using Chrome and, if on Mac, Safari. Also make sure the application has full access to storage.
