I see that this basic feature has been requested over the years but hasn’t been implemented so I’m putting in a new request for it.
It would be great to be able to name the output files before we set them to render. Without this feature, when I render several videos in a queue I can’t at a glance tell which output files correspond to which detailed settings. Being able to name the files in a way that’s meaningful to me will enable me to queue up renders with different settings and at a glance I’ll know which renders correspond to which settings.
