When importing a image sequence, I have no chance to set a frame rate of 18 as the original. regarding the fact that (Super) 8mm was mostly shot with 18 frames per second and that theses footage would benfit the most from the features of Topaz (frame rate conversion, stabilizing uprez…)
I think that it once was possible to set 18 as an frame rate. Why is it limited to the given choices at all instead of being able to determine the frame rate on a individual basis?
You should be able to type in a custom rate in the box to set it as that. What frame rate is the video set to after being digitized?
thanks for checking in, don’t know what the problem was, it got a red edge around the field and it didn’t seem to work. But it does now. One suggestion: It is still not possible to see the effects of the frame interpolation in the viewer, Timecode still says 18 frames. Only after rendering the file out one sees the result of the in between frames.
