[6.1] Closing a source video while waiting for it to play cancels ongoing export job

Extremely convoluted bug that caused me to lose over 6 hours on an export job that was erroneously terminated.

In human terms, basically what I was doing was trying to play a video (not the same source as the export) within the integrated video player while an export job was going. It lagged, and I closed the video before it started playing, and that caused my export job (not the same source) to stop.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open at least two videos in source.
  2. Start export job on one of the videos.
  3. Try playing another video in source, not the same one as the export, if there is a delay and you close the video source, it will cause the export job to stop.

Hi Frank, sorry this happened! When you say “close the video source” do you mean closing the tab that it is playing in or in the source window clicking on the 3 dots > close input?
