I open the movie, make some sets and make few preview, close bad previews, and I use ‘save project as’ to save ‘test project file’.
I don’t know how it must work, but I was thinking that it save all sets and path to source movie. No way. TVAI only save project paths, not sets, not source file.

Correct, the files themselves are not saved in the form of previews that have been run, but the state of the app is preserved and if files have not moved than they will open back up where they left off and show in the project file for processing.
Video AI projects are not the same as normal video editing app projects.
