Any suggestions for which AI engine might work best on these sorts of images?
They are typically low frame rate, something like 8 fps.
(Ideally a deblocking and smoothing filter might be applied?)
Hard to say since no “model” is trained on such footage - you would have to try out yourself… For specialized cases like this - in order for the AI to really “pick up things” - a model would have to be trained especially on this kind of footage… Since it´s hard to get “the original” picture of a Ultrasonic picture… difficult…
deblocking pass is always possible - you might also want to try out some traditional deblocking filters.
GAIA-CG used the be the one I’d recommend for this, but it’s changed so much that I don’t think it would do it now.
