You can cancel that run and spare your time. The output will be garbled as well.

Starlight just does not work on AppleSilicon atm with macOS 26.2.

Starlight Mini totally unusable results with MacOS 26.2

Topaz Video 1.1.0 Mac Studio M3 Ultra 96GB RAM The release notes for v1.1.0 claim “improved” quality and performance with Starlight (Mini) when rendering locally on Mac. This must be some strange new usage of the word “improved” that I was previously unaware of. Here’s an example still from a two second Starlight export – original first: [Screenshot 2025-12-27 at 14.42.22] [Screenshot 2025-12-27 at 14.42.48] I’ll admit it’s faster than before – faster at producing garbage.
