4000x6000 TIF takes inordinately long time to simply sharpen subject - v 3.1.3 -had to cancel

Select subject.
Select Sharpen.
Wait for a long time (over 5 minutes). I had to STOP it, it just wasn’t finishing and completely disrupted my workflow.

Can I retrograde to one that works as it did before, in less than a minute?

72MB TIF.
