This should be simple but I’m at a loss at the present. I dl the .msi file but when trying to install the update, I get 'The specified account already exists".
What am I missing and obviously, what do I do???

Do you have a previous version installed?
All the usual suspects I would suggest, don’t apply to msi files. 
Funny thing is, I have pretty much all versions installed and this is the first time that the .msi file didn’t update on versions 4.0.8 or 4.0.9
I’d think it’s a simple fix but it beats me.

Can you install it from the update button in 4.0.7? Maybe run TVAI as Administrator before doing that.
If that’s not it. I’m all the way out of ideas.

I’ve written support so maybe it will be sorted out.
I thought there was a place on Topaz site where one could download the full version and bypass updating, but maybe I’m wrong.

The release page… but that’s the msi file.
Yeah. I’m in contact with support so maybe they’ll sort it out. I hope that I can get the full executable program, then I’d think I can install it normally.
The .msi files are of no use in its present state unless they have a solution dealing with account.
