1.2.0 First set in point always steps "backwards" a few frames

This is a longer-term issue that hasn’t been addressed far as I know. Whenever I just want to work on part of a video via using in the in and out points, upon setting the in point at for example, 50 seconds exactly (so 50.00.00) into the video, Topaz always “steps back” by a few frames to for example, 49.57.00, and I have to set it again at exactly 50.00.00 before it then “holds”.

Could this be looked at and fixed please?

Thank you.

Thanks for bringing this up Raymond. Let me see if I can replicate this issue on my end to share with the devs for investigation.

If you can record your screen when it happens that can be helpful as well, you can share that here or directly to the support team at help@topazlabs.com.

Sure here you are.

In that video I set the time line to 10 minutes exactly, click mark in, and it steps back to 09:59:11.

Thank you, I have shared that with the devs and we were able to replicate with an interlaced source as well. Progressive source files did not show the behavior though.

Good, glad it wasn’t just me then. Hopefully see it roll out in a fix soon, and just a last FYI this also occurred in the “legacy” Topaz Video as well.
